Everybody’s favourite sponsored silence has been back in the media recently with his usual double edged meanings when talking about client Yaya Toure.

Dimitri Seluk has again hinted that midfielder Toure could be off for pastures new come the summer as he continues to struggle with his own contradictions and media nonsense.

Presumably he doesn’t own a mirror or the talent to maintain a consistent outlook.

Having said previously that Toure would honour his contract until the summer of 2017 and then talked about ambassador roles and various other things that seemed to pop into his head at the point, he’s now (once more) cast doubt on Toure’s future by saying that any offers over the summer would be looked at.

With the usual mix of ignorance that City hold him under contract and he can’t look at offers unless we agree, and the ‘go on tempt their hand I like money’ angles associated with such agent talk – he’s quoted by various media as saying that Toure categorically will be going nowhere this month (Sherlock comes to mind) but the summer is a different story.

Yes, it’s usually warmer.

SportItalia have him saying.

‘He will not move in January. However, in the summer things can change. We are ready to listen to any offers that are on the table.’

How about an offer to be quiet?

Then again with how often Seluk has claimed his client will be departing for pastures new and been confident about it, when Toure does finally leave the Etihad I can’t but worry he might be in shock and need taking care of.
