Yaya Toure Is About To Sign For ******* Football Club

|

When Yaya Toure’s Manchester City contract expired in June, the 35-year-old left the Etihad, (having played against Brighton in the final game of the season) with a lifetime season ticket, a standing ovation and oodles of love and affection.

Four months later the central defender’s agent, Dimitry Seluk has resurfaced from under a rock and in doing so began to irritate the hell out of me – AGAIN!

I could write a book on the number of defamatory statements made by the Russian against Pep Guardiola and MCFC. But I’ll save that for another day.

Who remembers the birthday cake incident?

And who remembers this from Blue Moon Rising TV.

Dimitry once said….

“He (Yaya) is like my son. I put a lot of energy into his development, not just as a player but as a person. He’s a very honest guy, and he’s a winner.”

Up to his tricks, yet again?

It was yesterday when Seluk began to spout his mouth off about Yaya’s future.

“Toure has passed a medical in London,” Seluk wrote. “Yaya is close to signing a new contract.”

Then the Tweets started.

His Tweets clearly state Yaya will not be playing at Crystal Palace or West Ham United.

Arsenal?

Chelsea?

What about Tottenham? I mean, club chairman Daniel Levy is as tight as a ducks ass and in my opinion he would snap his hand off to get Yaya on a free.

Then there is Brentford, Fulham, Millwall, Brentford, QPR or even Charlton.

My feelings changed toward Yaya when he began to slag Pep as soon as he left City. And if I’m honest, I really couldn’t give a hoot where he plays this or any other season.

For me, he could end up at any London club including ******* FC. But who cares.

Farewell Yaya and thanks for the memories.
