“YESSSS”, “Get him”, “Better than Chilwell” – Some MCFC fans beg Pep to sign £25.2m ace

According to an update courtesy of journalist Lucas Scagliola via Man City Xtra, Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico is on the Sky Blues’ shortlist for a transfer this summer – adding to the collection of stars already linked with an Etihad move. 

Tagliafico, who can play as both a left-back and centre-back, currently valued at around £25.2 million by Transfermarkt, could be a versatile defensive option at a relatively cheap price – with some Citizens now begging Pep Guardiola to secure the deal.

Given our recent links to Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell, and Bayern Munich star David Alaba, it appears City are on the hunt for a full-back option who can stand in place of the injury prone Benjamin Mendy and out-of-form option Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Now, with Tagliafico emerging as another defensive candidate, these City supporters are gushing over the links – urging our club and Pep Guardiola to sign the 27-year-old.
