Claims are being made that City youngster Bruno Zuculini will end one loan spell with a team in Spain to then join another?

Manuel Pellegrini was impressed by the Racing Club midfielder in the summer so brought him to the Etihad in a £2.2m deal from the Argentine club with the 21-year-old then involved in our American tour and also played in the Community Shield against Arsenal.

In order to give him ‘experience of the European game’ he was loaned to Valencia but the Mirror reports that with him not getting too much time on the pitch we’ll end this loan in January with Getafe looking to then take Zuculini on loan until the end of the season.

Any deal agreed with them though would be a ‘loan with an option to buy’, which isn’t something we could be too willing to accept…. You would think that Zuculini will be given a fighting chance to prove himself with City, otherwise why would we have signed him last summer?

In the meantime though we need him to go where he’ll have the best chance possible of playing regular first-team football so if this means ending one loan for another so be it!
