Manchester City enjoyed a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday evening, but Jude Bellingham got on the scoresheet for the visitors and put in a decent performance, as per Toby Cudworth of 90min, which must have caught Pep Guardiola’s attention.
The 19-year-old is coming off the back of an impressive season that saw him score six goals with 14 assists from 44 games, so he’d be a fantastic option for Man City if they ever made a move. Guardiola has an aging midfield that will eventually need fresh blood, so who better than Bellingham?

The England international has made six Bundesliga appearances this season and averages more tackles per game (3) and interceptions (1.7) than Joao Cancelo (1.3) (1) and more dribbles (3.2) than Jack Grealish (2), so he’d greatly improve the City midfield.
Bellingham has completed more passes in midfield (84.2% of 46.5 passes per game) than Kevin De Bruyne (80.1% of 48 passes per game) too, so he should be on City’s radar for the future. With Ilkay Gundogan being out of contract in 2023 and wanting assurances over his role in the side, Bellingham could be his successor.
City have a good relationship with Dortmund and will need a central midfielder if he leaves next summer, so Bellingham is one of the best young talents money can buy.
In other news, Pep Guardiola would have to sell Jack Grealish to bring in Rafael Leao
