Report: Man City ‘considering offer’ for £100m-rated 18 y/o with 12 caps for national team

Manchester City have an enviable midfield with Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gundogan, Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden for creativity, but it appears Pep Guardiola is still looking to strengthen in the transfer market.

Fichajes say the Premier League leaders are interested in Jude Bellingham, but Borussia Dortmund have no intention of cashing in just yet. It may take a bid of £100m for the Bundesliga outfit to cave.

Bellingham joined Dortmund on a five-year deal from Birmingham City in 2020 and has gone on to make 85 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals with 17 assists.

The 18-year-old has already represented England on 12 occassions and looks to have a bright future for club and country, so it’s easy to see why City would be keen on Bellingham.

He’s made 27 Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring three goals with seven assists, creating 32 chances, making 50 successful dribbles, having 29 interceptions and making 41 tackles.

Bellingham’s £100m valuation might prove a stumbling block, however, as Dortmund aren’t obligated to cash in early with three-and-a-half-years remaining on his deal.

The Englishman would be a brilliant addition to City’s squad, but it remains to be seen if they’ll land his signature.
