Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim, head of the Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG) wants to bring in no fewer than 18 new Manchester City players in January.

Blues boss, Mark Hughes has apparently been told he can offer £80m each for AC Milan’s Brazilian playmaker Kaka and Barcelona’s Argentinean attacking midfielder, Lionel Messi.

Also on the list are Liverpool’s Spanish ace Fernando Torres – expected to cost £70m – and fellow compatriot Cesc Fabregas. The Arsenal midfielder would set City back in the region of £60m.

Dr Al Fahim also reiterated one of his main objectives, and that is to publicise the United Arab Emirates, especially Abu Dhabi.

‘Our main objective is to publicise Abu Dhabi as a capital for sports, education and culture in the Middle East, in addition to giving the UAE people and residents the opportunity to train and interact with players from Manchester,’ he told the worlds media.
