It may not have been a spectacle for Manchester City fans as managerless Swansea City gave as good as they got at the Etihad earlier today, but midfielder Yaya Toure when speaking to the press after the match admitted that the late deflected winner to return all three points was very important for the club.

With Wilfried Bony giving City the lead in the game and scoring against his former side, Swansea had a number of opportunities to draw themselves level and they finally managed to do that during stoppage time, and it looked like being one of those days for manager Manuel Pellegrini again.

With injury time ticking away, there was just enough left for Toure to send in a curling effort – which took a nick off youngster Kelechi Iheanachi – as it nestled in the back of the net to return a win.
