According to their official website Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Manchester City over the signing of German defender Jerome Boateng.
The 22-year-old will sign a four-year contract, however, even though no official figure has been announced the transfer fee is thought to be in the region of £18m.
Bayern sporting director Christian Nerlinger told the club’s official website…
‘Jerome Boateng is a young German international, who fits perfectly into the philosophy of FC Bayern.’
City signed Boateng from Hamburg for £10.4m prior to the World Cup last summer but he made only 14 Premier League starts for the club last season.
