Growing reports are saying that City will be announcing the signing of Wilfredo Caballero at any moment.
Manuel Pellegrini has been on the lookout for another ‘keeper this summer, with City linked with several, but if rumours are right it will be Malaga’s Argentine Caballero that will come in as a rival for Joe Hart following Costel Pantilimon summer departure for Sunderland.
A medical was undertaken on Monday with a 3-year deal agreed for a fee said to be around £6m….
Experience is not something that Caballero lacks at all, he is 32-years-old and has been around the block a few times winning Olympic Gold back in 2004 and has previous with the City boss of course having played under him at Malaga.
