City Suspend Nowhere Man Tevez

Manchester City FC confirmed moments ago that Carlos Tevez is suspended with immediate effect. Proper order…

Backed by close to universal support throughout European football following Tevez’s blatant show of petulence, Roberto Mancini now has the opportunity to regroup his squad tomorrow and begin preparations for the short weekend trip to Blackburn with Tevez ousted.

In the meantime, the City hierarchy will begin an investigation into Tevezgate that could see his increasingly poisonous presence dispensed with altogether. Tevez only a fortnight ago publicly slated Sergio Aguero’s daily English language courses.

Tevez and his ever vocal adviser with their ludicrous demands and contradictory statements have backed themselves further and further into a hole at Manchester City which is a club run by some of the shrewdest extremely powerful businessmen in the world. Lest we forget the Argentinian national squad who let’s face it, don’t like Tevez around either. With the football world watching, as with Emailgate, City have moved quickly to take action. A stand has to be taken against people like that in a bid to stop a precedent being set.

No amount of hastily written attempts at cover ups could save the fallen City talisman following what the world witnessed in TV and photographs, let alone heard from his decision to go solo via an interpreter in Munich and declare “I Didn’t Feel Right To Play, So I Didn’t.”

Tevez of course lost the support of the majority of City fans following his double transfer requests. Most Blues feel that once a player has taken such action, that’s his relationship with the club forever tarnished. The player and his agent are kidding themselves if they believe he has any support left in Manchester.

We’ve more than had our money’s worth out of a brilliantly talented footballer but he burnt his bridges long ago.

So having essentially “wagged it” throughout an entire pre season to the point of pisspoor fitness, Tevez now finds himself without anywhere to train but his no doubt rain soaked and miserable Manchester back garden. At least he can always console himself in either Mancunian restaurant.

Manchester City FC Club Statement

“Manchester City can confirm that striker Carlos Tevez has been suspended until further notice for a maximum period of two weeks.

The player’s suspension is pending a full review into his alleged conduct during Tuesday evening’s 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.

The player will not be considered for selection or take part in training whilst the review is under way.”
