“Dream signing” – Plenty of MCFC fans beg Txiki for 22 y/o who is “better than Gundogan”

According to an update courtesy of le10sport, Man City winger Riyad Mahrez is ‘doing his best‘ to convince AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer to join the Sky Blues – prompting many supporters to beg Txiki Begiristain over signing the 22-year-old who is ‘better than Gundogan‘. 

Bennacer, who has started 26 Serie A matches for Milan this season, could be an ideal heir to Fernandinho given his stats – with the Algerian making a higher amount of tackles on average than the Brazilian in midfield, even more than the 35-year-old managed during his stellar 2019/2019 campaign.

Even though Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are also eyeing a move for the youngster, City may have an advantage in the pursuit through Mahrez – who is reportedly attempting to sway his teammate in choosing an Eastlands move over the San Siro.

Flocking to the report, it’s clear many Sky Blues would adore this transfer – with some calling him a ‘dream signing‘.
