Manchester City have lost their opening pre season game of the summer as we went down two nil to the slightly fitter Dundee yesterday.
The City squad haven’t been back in training for long, but Dundee began a fortnight ago, and the difference in fitness and sharpness levels already showed itself in what was a sluggish performance by our standards.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini did make the most of the run out though, choosing to field almost two entirely different sides in each half to give as many players 45 minutes as he could.
Our pre season plans continue when we face Hearts on Friday.
City 1st half:
Caballero, Bossaerts, Kolarov, Denayer, Boyata, Navas, Fernando, Rodwell, Huws, Jovetic, Guidetti.
City 2nd half:
Caballero, Richards, Leigh, Rekik, Nastasic, Zuculini, Garcia, Nasri, Negredo, Huws, Sinclair.
