Gareth Barry flies to Kazakhstan with the England squad tomorrow (Wednesday 3 May) but before he does he’ll be at Manchester City, hopefully passing his medical.
If all goes well the 28-year-old is expected to sign a five year deal worth around £100,000 a week, more than doubling the amount he received at Aston Villa. Meanwhile City is expected to pay Villa a fee of £12 million for his services.
