Striker John Guidetti has now completed his loan move to Celtic after FIFA granted an exemption and special dispensation for the move.
With their being certain wranglings over the move – apparently some of the paperwork didn’t go through until gone midnight – given it was oh so close to happening ahead of the deadline on Monday, the Scottish FA confirmed they would support an appeal bid by Celtic over the 22 year old and that has now been granted and the deal ratified.
A FIFA spokesman said today.
‘After checking the documentation received and the information contained in the international transfer matching system managed by FIFA TMS, the Scottish Football Association was informed today that the envisaged loan deal may proceed.’
Celtic have now confirmed the move.
