Jack Grealish underperformed in Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday and could be dropped against Wolverhampton Wanderers, so his second season is going the same way as the first.

The 27-year-old had a woeful debut campaign, scoring just three goals with three assists from 26 Premier League games since joining from Aston Villa, but Adrian Durham says things are even worse now with zero goals or assists from five appearances in all competitions.
He said on talkSPORT: “(Dortmund) was a big opportunity for Grealish to show what he can do. All he can do is run down the left wing, dribble, no early ball coming in.
It’s easily blocked. I don’t see anything there. He’s been here over a year and I don’t see anything there from Grealish.”
It’s been four months since Grealish had a hand in a goal in the Premier League, so his place in the City and England squad are at risk unless things improve.
Durham says the 27-year-old has been too predictable in possession due to his tenancy to cut inside and slow the tempo down, so it makes him an easy player to defend against. It’s also why Grealish isn’t posting good numbers right now.
