While many parts of the UK brace for the so-called Beast from the East 2:0 this weekend, with snow and freezing temperatures forecast, a lucky few are sunning themselves in warmer climates.
Envious
I spent the last cold snap in Tenerife and so I can’t complain. Having said that the temperature was nowhere near that of Abu Dhabi.
Mixing business with pleasure
City players and officials have been in the UAE since early Tuesday morning, and from what we in the UK have been hearing is that the club has been mixing business (warm weather training and meetings with the club owner and Chairman) with pleasure (golf, sunbathing and just chillaxing).
