Waddle: Falcao Chip One Of The Best Goals I’ve Ever Seen
Radamel Falcao’s chip against Manchester City is one of ‘the best goals I’ve seen,’ says former England winger Chris Waddle.
The Colombian lofted the ball over City goalkeeper Willy Caballero to score Monaco’s third goal of the evening, but they eventually lost the Champions League last-16, first-leg tie 5-3 in Manchester.
Waddle, no stranger to moments of flair during his illustrious playing career, was full of praise for the finish.
‘He’s chipped him from six yards away. He’s well in the box, and he’s chipped him. It had to be spot on,’ Waddle told BBC Radio 5 live.
