Man City can potentially entice £8m starlet who Hernan Crespo called “fearless” – Report

|

Speaking exclusively to TNT Sports, Argentine starlet Agustin Urzi has opened up over his habit of watching Manchester City with his Dad – with the youngster also stating that he would like a move to the Premier League.

Urzi, who has appeared 18 times for Club Atletico Banfield this season, is also wanted by a host of clubs who have contacted his representatives over a potential move – with household names like Boca Juniors, Inter Milan, River Plate, Roma, Fiorentina and Atletico Madrid apparently getting in touch with Banfield as the player attracts huge attention.

The 19-year-old has mostly been excelling for Argentina’s youth ranks, helping the Under-23s side qualify for the now postponed Olympics recently – playing all six games they won en route to qualification.

Should City take a gamble on Urzi?

Yes

No

Urzi, who is currently valued at around £8 million by Transfermarkt, only missed out on one encounter, a match where the young Argentines succumbed to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of arch-rivals Brazil – potentially highlighting his influential presence in the side.

Now, with a host of top European clubs seemingly knocking on his door, Urzi claims that a move to the Premier League is the most enticing proposition of all – whilst also citing the fact that City hold a special place with him.

The teenager revealed to TNT Sports that he sits down with his Dad and watches the Sky Blues on a regular basis, potentially giving insight into what club he would choose if he were to opt for a Premier League switch.

It’s clear that he most likely wouldn’t say no to an Etihad Stadium move if it were offered, with ex-Argentine international Hernan Crespo also branding the player as ‘fearless’ last year.

Given his meagre price tag and the fact he is already impressing on the international stage at junior level, Urzi could be an exciting prospect for the future, especially considering his apparent enthusiasm towards the Sky Blues.
