According to an update from TNT Sports journalist Veronica Brunati, Manchester City are ‘not interested’ in signing Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez in the summer – with manager Pep Guardiola seemingly prioritising other players.
Martinez, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Sky Blues in recent days, is also touted as a potential successor to Sergio Aguero – having scored 11 goals in 20 Serie A starts this season.
However, as per this update from journalist Brunati, it seems as if City are not exactly prioritising a swoop for Martinez after-all – with fans going on to discuss the news on Twitter.
Should City prioritise signing Martinez?
Yes
No
Even though the 22-year-old has even been praised by Lionel Messi in the past, our fan base aren’t exactly too gutted about potentially missing out on capturing the sought-after striker.
One fan even claimed that ‘Haaland is better’ whilst another simply stated ‘good riddance’ – find all of their best comments down below.
