Issa Kabore looks on his way out of Manchester City this summer, having spent another campaign out on loan and not looking likely to be given a chance in the first-team next season. Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato (h/t City Xtra) says OGC Nice are interested in procuring his signature but have yet to agree a fee with the Sky Blues.

Kabore joined City on a five-year deal in 2020 for £4m but hasn’t made a single appearance for the Premier League champions. The Burkina Faso international found himself behind Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker in the pecking order, so he was loaned out to KV Mechelen (2020/21) and Troyes (2021/22), making 34 and 32 appearances respectively.

Kabore’s value appears to have risen in the last two years as Aouna says City want €15m (£12.9m) for the right-back, netting them a profit of £8.9m. Whether Nice match their terms remains to be seen, however, but it won’t be down to Kabore’s stock. He’s highly-rated in Ligue after an impressive loan stint and successful African Cup of Nations, so his future looks bright.
