Manchester City’s comeback win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday put them top of Group G with a 100% record and maintained their winning streak at home, but it was Erling Haaland who also continued an impressive personal streak by contributing a goal in yet another City game.

The 22-year-old has now had a hand in one or more goals in every Premier League and Champions League outing this season, taking his tally to 13 goals from eight consecutive games and nine in total.

After firing blanks in City’s Community Shield defeat to Liverpool (July 30), Haaland netted both goals in the Sky Blues’ 2-0 win over West Ham (August 7), had an assist in their 4-0 win over Bournemouth (August 13), bagged one goal in the 3-3 draw with Newcastle (August 21), netted his first hat-trick in City’s 4-2 win over Crystal Palace (August 27), had his second hat-trick in their 6-0 win over Nottingham Forest (August 31) and scored once in the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa (September 3).

The 22-year-old couldn’t be having a better start to life at City and will hope to maintain his goal record in Saturday’s trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
