Man City player continues impressive personal streak in Wolves victory

Erling Haaland once again got on the scoresheet as Manchester City enjoyed a 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, taking his tally to 14 goals and one assist from 10 games.

The 22-year-old has contributed a goal in every Premier League and Champions League game this season and took just 16 minutes to take his streak to nine consecutive outings.

Haaland collected a through ball and finished into the bottom corner with his right foot to double City’s lead. He played a full 90 minutes but only made 24 touches, though both his chances were on target.

The Norwegian international scored once in City’s 2-0 win over West Ham (August 7), had an assist in their 4-0 win over Bournemouth (August 13), scored once in the 3-3 draw with Newcastle (August 21), scored three goals in City’s 4-2 win over Crystal Palace (August 27), scored three goals in the 6-0 win over Nottingham Forest (August 31), scored once in the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa (September 3) and scored once in the 3-0 win over Wolves (September 17).

City next face Manchester United on October 2, so Haaland faces his biggest test to maintain his run.
