‘They have a special relationship’- City regarded as possible destination for England superstar

|

A familiar Norwegian to City fans be in hand to give the club a huge advantage when it comes to landing highly sought-after Borussia Dortmund Midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The former Birmingham City midfielder’s performance’s during England’s Quarter Final World Cup run have increased his price tag to upwards of 150m Euros which are being quoted by major publications in Germany such as BILD and German transfer expert Christian Falk/@CFBayern on Twitter.

The latest on Bellingham to City comes from Fabrizio Romano via Podcastherewego, who states that City are aware of striker Erling Haaland’s incredible relationship with England superstar Bellingham, 19, as they spent two years together in Dortmund before the Norwegian’s move to the Cityzens last summer. Romano believes City are ‘very much in the race’ for the teenage prodigy whose contract expires in June of 2025, and also stated how the pair of the Dortmund midfielder and Haaland ‘have a special relationship’, and the Cityzens believe the dynamic with the Dortmund midfielder and Haaland may prove to be the key factor in convincing the teenager to join Guardiola and co.

However, the route to Bellingham won’t be straight forward as Liverpool currently remain firm favourites to secure his signature after Jurgen Klopp made it his priority after missing out on his main midfield target last summer in Real Madrid star Aurlien Tchouaméni; City will have to defeat the Merseyside outfit once more in order to land their man, this time by winning a highly contested transfer battle.
