Harry Kane is open to leaving Tottenham Hotspur this summer and Manchester City are open to signing him, so there is a very real possibility of him being lured to the Etihad Stadium.
Andros Townsend played with Kane at Tottenham and believes he will make the switch in the coming months, but he also said Daniel Levy will want to be heavily compensated and may wait until deadline day before agreeing a move.

He told talkSPORT: “Kane wants that all-time Premier League scoring record, so he wants to stay in the Premier League. If that interview is anything to go by then he wants to win trophies. The only one club that’s guaranteed to win trophies is Man City.
“There’s no one better than Pep Guardiola and Man City if you want guaranteed trophies. It’s got deadline day written all over it! Levy is going to squeeze any penny he can out of any buying club. For me, Kane’s worth £150m, but with Levy it could be anything.”
Kane has made 336 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham, scoring 221 goals with 47 assists. The 27-year-old has yet to win a trophy with Spurs and has been public in his desire to pick up silverware, so a move could indeed be on the cards.
And with Kane being open to the idea of staying in England, City would be the ideal destination. They’ve won three Premier League titles in the last four seasons and have the resources to match his asking price, so it all depends on Levy.
A move is expected in the coming weeks, so this could be one to watch.
