Manchester Evening News say Manchester City have a dilemma over Yangel Herrera. The 23-year-old has impressed on loan at Granada over the last two years and has ‘considerable interest’ from Premier League sides.
City are also ‘weighing up’ whether to promote Herrera to the first-team next should Fernandinho leave at the end of his contract.

The defensive midfielder joined City from Atletico Venezuela in 2017 but has yet to make an appearance. He was loaned out to New York City FC (38 appearances) and SD Huesca (16 appearances) before making a name for himself at Granda.
Herrera has made 74 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish outfit, scoring 10 goals with five assists. He’s been a regular at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Cármenes and looks to have the attributes required to step into Fernandinho’s shoes.
The 23-year-old has made 47 tackles, had 20 successful dribbles, won 114 aerial duels and made 25 interceptions in 26 La Liga appearances, but it remains to be seen what City will do. MEN say the Sky Blues like the prospect of selling Herrera for a profit, but they’re still undecided.
