Manchester City need a prolific striker to replace Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane might be on the transfer market when the season comes to a close. The 27-year-old ‘wants to leave’ Tottenham Hotspur this summer and is open to joining a Premier League side.
Daniel Levy doesn’t want to sell Kane to a domestic rival for obvious reasons, but he might be forced to if a side abroad can’t match his asking price. Real Madrid and Barcelona don’t have the financials for a marquee signing this summer, so Man City should capitalise on the situation.

Kane has scored 236 career goals with 52 assists in 400 games for Tottenham, Millwall, Leyton Orient, Leicester City and Norwich City. He’s one of the best strikers in Europe and would be able to fill Aguero’s shoes.
Since the Argentine joined City in 2011, he’s scored 182 Premier League goals in 274 games – more than any other player. Kane is second in the list with 165 goals in 243 games, so he’d be perfect for City.
Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the England international, but he won’t land his signature unless City are willing to pay something close to £175m.
