Pep Guardiola makes decision on Man City man’s contract

Kyle Walker has been a regular for Manchester City this season, but his long-term future is uncertain due to his advancing age. The 32-year-old, who joined City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017, is out of contract in 2024 and hasn’t signed a new deal since 2019.

But Harry Pratt of the Daily Star revealed on Saturday that contract talks at City will be delayed until 2023. City normally like to tie down first-team players early, but the decision to delay is reportedly down to Walker’s age.
