Highly rated youngster Ellis Plummer has secured a loan more to Scottish Premier League side St Mirren for the coming season.
The 19 year old defender moves until the end of the 2014-15 campaign and this will be his second loan spell for experience, following a short spell last term with Oldham Athletic, where he made his professional debut on December 1 in their game against Bradford City, before taking in two more appearances for them.
Head of Elite Development Squad Patrick Vieria, told the Official Site of the opportunity available to the youngster.
‘This is an exciting development opportunity for Ellis, the experience of playing in the Scottish Premier League will be of huge benefit to him. I’m looking forward to seeing the progress he makes up in Scotland, and we wish Ellis and St Mirren well for the coming season.’
Plummer made 17 appearances for our U21 side last season, and was nominated for our Academy Player of the Year prize in July 2013.
