Manchester City fans hungry to see the Blues play pre-season games will have to consider travelling across the English Channel to get a glimpse of their favourite superstars.

New gaffer Mark Hughes begins his City managerial campaign on Tuesday July 8 when City face Swiss side FC Lucerne. Kick off is expected to be 8:15pm. Venue to be announced.

Four days later, City face another Swiss side, FC Basle. Just in case City fans were not aware, Basel is one of the most successful clubs in Swiss football, having won the Swiss Super League 12 times. Kick off is on Thursday July 10 at 8:45pm. Again, the venue has yet to be decided.

In between the UEFA Cup qualifying rounds, on Saturday July 26 City travel to HSH Nordbank Arena, home of Hamburger SV, to play one of the last scheduled pre-season matches. At the time this article is written, no kick-off time has been decided.
