The younger brother of current City star Yaya Toure, and of course former City defender Kolo Toure, has passed away at the age of 28.
Ibrahim Toure passed away in Manchester after reportedly losing his battle with cancer; a statement released from the Ivory Coast confirmed the news and of course expressed deepest condolences to the brothers.
Support has flooded in from all angles of football for the Toure brothers and their family at this sad time, it’s at times like this that things really are put into perspective and you realise what REALLY is important and just how fragile life can be.
This, obviously, has no direct impact on any City fan (or football fan) as such but I’m sure that all would send the Toure family their deepest condolences and express sorry for their loss, RIP Ibrahim Toure.
