There`s still plenty of football to be played and a lot that can still be achieved this year at City but it`s only natural to be considering who we`d like to arrive in the summer.

Plenty of world class names are going to be linked with us now we`re established as one of the main powers in Europe and, let`s be fair, who wouldn`t want to play under Pep right now?

With that in mind, then, we need to be careful that we don`t get stuck with a number of players being forced under our noses – though I have the impression that we`re too smart for that.

One player I would like us to go for, though, is Radja Nainggolan of AS Roma.

Our midfield has been excellent this year, but I just wonder whether need an extra option that can both attack and defend.

Sure, we don`t need to do much defending with the way we play but we cannot simply neglect it and with Yaya Toure potentially on the way out, we could do with another deep lying option.

Nainggolan, then, is the man I`d pick thanks to his tenacity, quality on the ball, energy and hammer of a shot.
The one game we were ruffled most in was surely the Liverpool match at Anfield.

We perhaps needed an extra man to both equal them for energy and running as well as being able to break things up that little bit more.

Fernandinho has been excellent this season, make no mistake, but sometimes being able to have two players on the field to do that instead of one helps.

I don`t think Ilkay Gundogan is particularly good at that ‘destroyer` type role and so, for me, the Roma man would be a superb addition.

Would you like Nainggolan?
