British authorities have asked the Anti-Money Laundering Office in Thailand about Thaksin’s Assets in Britain,and how they should deal with the situation.
The Bangkok post, state that British authorities will co-operate with Thailand. In a letter sent to Thailand, questions about what Britain should do where posted.
Last week Thaksin made an 81.6 million pound bid to buy Manchester City, and Thaksin’s advisors have now past out letters to City shareholders, in order to reach his 75% stake, However with so many questions still unanswered about his past, could this be the final straw?
As I begin to discover more about Thaksin’s past, one thing i have discovered is that His Thai Government tend to say something and do the opposite. For instance The Thai Government reported that it would not interfere in Thaksin’s Bid for Manchester City, however they have now issued an enquiry into the deal.
I may have questions unanswered about Thaksin Shinawatra, but i am beginning to belive that he is innocent. Please Thailand, do not interrupt this deal!
