Displaying a piece of common sense not often seen by City fans, the club has inserted a clause in the Fowler deal that means he will not play in the league game between City and Liverpool on 26th February.
However, in keeping with the typical City we all love and know, Robbie’s face will appear on the front cover of tomorrow’s match day programme, the official site www.mcfc.co.uk reports.
I suppose the consolation to be drawn from this is that even City couldn’t have printed a programme featuring a player they intended to sell before the game ….. or could they?
