The Daily Mail say Sergio Aguero and Pep Guardiola aren’t seeing eye to eye currently, as the former is ‘irritated’ at a lack of playing time while the latter believes he’s not ‘physically at the level’ to warrant more opportunities.
Aguero returned from injury in mid-February but has amassed only 79 minutes of Premier League football from a possible 630, which raises uncertainty over his long-term future at the Etihad Stadium.

The 32-year-old has made 12 appearances in all competitions this season, playing just 349 minutes across the board. Aguero has started only four games in 2020/21 and has just two goals to his name, so it’s been a forgettable campaign on a personal note (Transfermarkt).
Guardiola isn’t convinced that the Argentine international is able to be start games due to a lack of match fitness, so he’s kept Aguero on the bench in recent weeks. Gabriel Jesus has lead the line in his absence, but even he doesn’t always start.
The Daily Mail say Aguero could soon hold talks with Guardiola over his future in Manchester, so they pair might be airing their grievances to resolve the problem. City face Fulham on Saturday afternoon, but it remains to be seen if Aguero will get the nod in attack.
