According to a report from reliable Man City correspondent Sam Lee in the Athletic, the Sky Blues do plan on strengthening the squad this summer with money that is available regardless of our impending CAS hearing verdict.
Indeed, as per Lee, City will not wait around in the transfer market and plan on strengthening key areas such as a left-back, a replacement for Leroy Sane and possibly a striker.
Who should Man City target in the summer window?
Kingsley Coman
Leon Bailey
Kalidou Koulibaly
David Alaba
After arch rivals Liverpool clinched the title last week, it appears director of football Txiki Begiristain and co don’t plan on resting – with manager Pep Guardiola and the board planning an assault on the summer transfer market.
Recently, the Sky Blues have been linked with defenders Kalidou Koulibaly and David Alaba, as well as potential Sane successors Leon Bailey and Kingsley Coman.
Now, as per the Athletic, it appears City do reportedly plan on making signings this summer – prompting some City supporters to flock to the claim in response.
