Man City should go all out to sign £108m-rated 6ft 2in star from PL rivals – opinion

Sergio Aguero could leave Manchester City when his contract expires in 2021, so we’ll need to plan for his departure. We’ve handed Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling new and improved long-term deals while being linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, but there’s another player on our radar who would be the perfect addition to our squad  – Harry Kane.

The 27-year-old has taken his game to another level this season, showcasing playmaking abilities while still being as deadly in front of goal. According to the Independent, Pep Guardiola has asked City to look at bringing Kane to the Etihad Stadium, but that is easier said than done.

There’s no doubt the £108m-rated 6ft 2in striker is remarkable. He’s scored 201 goals and made 41 assists from 302 games in all competitions for Tottenham. This season, Kane has scored 13 goals and made 11 assists in 15 games across the board, so he’d more than improve our squad. Signing him is likely to be impossible, however.

Kane has four years left on his deal at Tottenham and looks happier than ever in North London while they sit top of the Premier League table this season. This is probably the worst time to pluck him from Spurs, as they look like title contenders under Jose Mourinho. I’d love to see Kane in Manchester and think we should go all out to sign him, but we have left it late.

In other news, Man City will offer Raheem Sterling a new contract that could see him earn more than £300k-per-week
