Sergio Aguero will leave Manchester City at the end of his contract this summer and Romelu Lukaku is one of many players lined up as a potential replacement.

Unfortunately, the Daily Mail believe the 27-year-old ‘will remain’ at Inter Milan to continue playing under Antonio Conte. He has no despite to leave the Nerazzurri while the 51-year-old Italian manager ‘is in charge’.

Despite being a former Manchester United player, Lukaku is on Pep Guardiola’s radar as he’s been prolific in Europe and has a wealth of Premier League experience.

The Belgian international has scored 113 PL goals in 252 games for Chelsea (10 games, 0 goals), West Bromwich Albion (35 games, 17 goals), Everton (141 games, 68 goals) and United (66 games, 28 goals), so he’s averaged nearly a goal every other game in England.

Inter will have no desire to let Lukaku leave, however, as he’s scored 25 goals in 34 games this season (Transfermarkt) and has three years remaining on his deal at the San Siro.

City may have to turn their attentions elsewhere, so one of Kylian Mbappe, Danny Ings, Patson Daka, Harry Kane, Darwin Nunez, Edin Dzeko, Ali Akman, Erling Haaland, Lautaro Martinez and Arek Milik could be their next target.
